The Hospital is located in Okene, Kogi State, North Central, Nigeria. It is one of the legacy projects of Governor Yahaya Bello and it is ready for Commissioning.
Kogi Reference Hospital is established to court medical tourism abroad as the hospital can match any other one in Europe and the United States as well as some of the best hospitals in the Middle East.
Kogi Reference Hospital will also serve as Teaching Hospital to the fast growing Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, a specialized University established by Governor Yahaya Bello to prepare Nigeria for the Industrial Revolution of the 21st Century.
The Administration of Governor Yahaya Bello has also completed a number of top-ranking hospitals across the state, including the Prince Abubakar Audu University Teaching Hospital, Anyigba.
