Today, the Kogi State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo hands 100 hectares of land to the Federal Housing Authority as a contribution to the 1000 Housing Unit (The Renewed Hope City) in Lokoja.
The Managing Director/CEO of the agency, Hon. Oyetunji Oladimeji Ojo thanked the Governor for taking ownership of the project, saying the State Government’s contribution will help prospective homeowners in the proposed city.
He said the Kogi State Government has shown exemplary readiness to partner with the Federal Housing Authority to deliver quality and cheaper homes to Kogites.
The Governor thanked Mr President for thinking of the less privileged in the Society, saying his administration will support the initiative as a mark of respect for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President and in recognition of the benefits to the people of Kogi State.
The FHA is working with the Kogi State Government to deliver 1000 Housing Units in the capital city of Lokoja.
