The All Progressives Congress (APC) commends Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State for his exceptional leadership during the Ondo State Governorship primary election.
Governor Ododo served as the chairman of the committee and received praise from the APC leadership for his outstanding performance.
The commendation was given as Governor Ododo presented the report of the Ondo State APC primary election committee to the party’s national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday.
Dr. Ganduje congratulated Governor Ododo for his exemplary work and expressed pride in the Kogi State Governor’s handling of the Ondo State Governorship primary election.
He highlighted the transparency and integrity displayed during the collation of results from the 203 wards and 18 Local Government areas of the state, which was broadcasted live on national television.
Governor Ododo expressed gratitude to the APC National Working Committee for entrusting him and his committee members with such an important national assignment.
The committee’s report includes recommendations to address the aftermath of the Ondo State Primary election and ensure that the APC enters the November governorship election as a united party prepared to retain power in Ondo State.
Accompanying Governor Ododo to the report presentation was the Secretary to the Committee, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, and other members of the Kogi State APC.
