In a heartfelt message, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State urges Muslims across Nigeria to embrace empathy, love, and forgiveness during the holy month of Ramadan and beyond.

Governor Ododo, in a Ramadan message to the people of the state, emphasized the significance of this sacred time for Muslims to contemplate the teachings of Allah and Prophet Muhammad, while stressing the importance of embodying the values of love, sacrifice, and forgiveness towards one another.

“This month of Ramadan presents a unique opportunity for us to reflect on the teachings of Allah and Prophet Muhammad, encouraging us to demonstrate love, empathy, and forgiveness towards one another,” Governor Ododo expressed.

He further encouraged Muslim brothers and sisters to extend empathy by providing alms to support the less fortunate within the community and called for prayers for leaders at both national and sub-national levels, wishing them success in effectively managing the country’s affairs.

Governor Ododo also commended the people of the state for their unwavering support for his administration while urging them to continue showing kindness and empathy towards those in need, regardless of their religious beliefs, ethnicity, or political affiliations.

As the holy month of Ramadan progresses, Governor Ododo encourages all citizens to come together in unity, compassion, and forgiveness, praying for the prosperity and success of the nation’s leadership in guiding the country towards a brighter future.
